Our Camberley-based client is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Junior Account Manager to join their growing team. In this entry-level role, you will assist in managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the senior account management team with day-to-day account activities. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, highly organised, and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Support senior account managers in maintaining strong relationships with clients. Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries, providing updates, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist in the onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth transition from sales to account management.
- Account Support: Help manage client accounts, ensuring that projects and tasks are executed on time and within budget. Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and reports for clients. Track client projects and deliverables, ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Sales and Business Development Support: Work with the sales team to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts. Assist in developing strategies to upsell and cross-sell services/products to clients. Help prepare sales pitches and presentations for new clients.
- Administrative and Operational Tasks: Assist with the preparation of contracts, invoicing, and managing account budgets. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client communications, meetings, and projects. Organise and coordinate meetings, calls, and presentations with clients.
- Market Research and Reporting: Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and industry best practices to support account management efforts. Prepare reports for internal teams and clients, tracking the status of projects, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, product, customer support) to ensure the client’s needs are met. Coordinate with the product and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate service/product delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
