With a strong local presence, this agency plays a key role in the property market and is a trusted provider of guaranteed rental income. This is an excellent opportunity to earn commission across both sales and lettings, enhancing your income.
The Package:
- Competitive salary of up to £28k basic plus uncapped commission, with OTE of £35k
- Monday to Thursday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
- 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9:30am - 1:00pm (time off in lieu)
- Both office and field-based on appointments
The Role:
- Register and qualify potential buyers and vendors
- Schedule property valuations and market appraisals
- Arrange and conduct viewings, providing detailed feedback
- Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers
- Progress sales to completion, maintaining communication with all parties
- Qualify prospective tenants and landlords
- Arrange and accompany property viewings
- Generate new business through referrals, canvassing, and local networking
- Negotiate tenancies and prepare tenancy agreements
- Ensure properties comply with relevant legislation (e.g., EPCs, gas safety)
- Manage the letting process, liaising with landlords and tenants from instruction to move-in
The Person:
- Previous experience in the UK property market (Lettings or Sales) is essential
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- In-depth local market knowledge is an advantage
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle, with mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile
- Self-motivated and proactive in approach
- ARLA/NAEA qualifications are desirable but not essential (support can be provided)
