One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Campaigns Manager on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hybrid working role where, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.
Overview:
- To provide a complete business support service to the Merton Safeguarding Adults Board, in accordance with departmental, corporate and statutory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- To provide comprehensive administrative support to the work of the Safeguarding Adults Board, its subgroups and the Strategic Safeguarding Group. This involves scheduling meetings and liaising with the Independent Chair, MSAB Manager and partners to prepare agendas, taking minutes, monitoring actions.
- To provide support to the MSAB Manager in managing the Safeguarding Adults Review (SAR) process. This will include processing referrals and maintaining the tracker; supporting co-ordination of reviews including liaising with reviewers; supporting the action plan process and dissemination of review findings.
- To provide project support to the MSAB Manager as relates to the work of the Subgroups and delivery of the MSAB Strategic Plan. This includes support with development and monitoring of work plans liaising closely with subgroup co-chairs and members.
- To support the coordination of the Community Safeguarding Adults Champions Network. This includes managing the mailing list, organising and planning meetings in collaboration with the Chair and MSAB Manager, as well as support for planning National Safeguarding Week.
- To provide administrative support for any multi-agency training, events and conferences as relates to the work of the MSAB, including the annual safeguarding conference held jointly with the Merton Children Safeguarding Partnership (MSCP).
- To act as a point of contact for the MSAB including communicating key updates, responding to queries and efficient communication with partners and the wider community.
- To be responsible for maintaining and updating the MSAB website including uploading key documents and being key point of contact.
- To be responsible for the accurate and organised filing of key documents using Sharepoint and in compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Comply with all legislative requirements, including data protection, freedom of information, health and safety and the Council’s equal opportunities and diversity policies.
- To undertake such other duties as may be required by, or on behalf of the team, provided they fall within the range and scope and duties of the post and are commensurate with the grade of the post.
