We are looking for a Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive to join our Residential Litigation Department. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 year’s experience in most, if not all the below areas of work that we engage in. Areas of work to cover: Debt Recovery – small claims/fast-track/Multi-track Breach of Lease – County Court Action/FTT Action Forfeiture and Possession Proceedings Lease Extensions & Variations FTT Applications Lease Analysis Enforcement of Judgements Providing advice to clients re major works consultations/ s20b notices/ lease variations/ lease structure/ notice of repairs Ability to support our Pre-Litigation team with any queries. Attendance at Industry events/conferences for BD purposes, along with client meetings as required Ideal Candidate: – Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in the areas of work covered above (Strictly Long Leasehold) A working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, a familiarity with leases and enforcement of judgements Proactive, self-motivated, organised and reliable A strong academic background Excellent but concise communication skills, both orally and in writing Strong organisation and administration skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively Possess attention to detail A friendly and personable approach with colleagues and clients and an ability to deal with matters sensitively and explain complex issues to clients. Ability to work either alone or collaboratively with other team members, and to use initiative and demonstrate sound judgement Strong IT and document management skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly. Must be familiar with the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985/1987 (Long Leasehold) Salary – £35,000 – £60,000 Days – Monday – Friday Hours 09:00 – 17:00 Location – Birmingham – City Centre AMRT1_UKCT
