About the Role:
We’re looking for a Night Shift Senior Foreman to support the delivery of infrastructure works on site. You’ll lead site activities during night shifts, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to a high standard of quality. Reporting to the Works Superintendent, you’ll be a key part of the site leadership team and work closely with supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate site works during night shifts
- Manage labour, plant, and materials to meet the project schedule
- Lead and support site teams, including subcontractors
- Ensure work is completed to the required quality and safety standards
- Maintain accurate daily records and reports
- Carry out site inspections and ensure permits, briefings, and safety documents are up to date
- Support engineering teams with method statements and work planning
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Experience as a General Foreman in construction
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures
- Understanding of construction methods and health & safety best practice
- Good computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, email)
- CSCS card and SMSTS
- NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision
Desirable:
- Experience on nuclear projects
- NVQ Level 6
- Confined Space training
- CAT & Genny, Temporary Works Supervisor, Lift Supervisor tickets
