A holistic, whole-child focused primary school in Westminster, London is searching for a Nursery Teacher to join their team in September on a permanent contract. This is a full time Nursery Teacher position, suitable for an experienced Nursery Teacher or an ECT with EYFS experience during their placements.
The school is passionate about offering a well-rounded, holistic approach to education which starts in Reception. Children are encouraged to learn through play, be creative and have fun. There is an excellent Forest School as well as great outdoor play space for children. Teachers are encouraged to do the same and are given autonomy to teach their lessons in their own style, with excellent schemes of work in place to scaffold from. Despite their holistic curriculum, the school does well each year with their GLD results. Behaviour is 'Good' and is well supported by specialist EYPs and TAs with strong EYFS knowledge.
The Executive Headteacher is passionate about staff development, workload and wellbeing and is fortunate to have a strong team of teachers, middle & senior leaders in place. Teachers all benefit from protected PPA time, which is taken in conjunction with partner teachers. The school has a strong team of internal PPA Teachers & HLTAs to ensure a continuation in learning, meaning children's progress is consistent.
