We are currently looking to recruit for a number of HGV drivers for an ongoing contract in Wolverhampton.

Role Requirements of a HGV Driver:

  • Weekday and Weekend shifts
  • Class 1 - £15.50 - £17.93 Per Hour
  • Class 2 - £13.50 to £15.69 Per Hour
  • Weekends paid at a higher rate
  • Various starts available between 5am – 8am
  • Must hold a HGV driver entitlement with valid CPC and Tacho
  • Ideally you would need to have no more than 6 points but endorsements such as DD/DR/IN cannot be considered due to insurance criteria.
  • Must have at least 6 months’ work on license.

Role Responsibilities HGV Driver:

  • Safely operate either a HGV vehicle doing general haulage work across the UK – this role is a varied one with local multidrops and long distance trunking style work, so no two shifts are the same.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Perform vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
  • Adhere to road traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
  • Complete all required paperwork and digital logs accurately.
