Joining our Roll Shop team as a turner, you will play a crucial part in our production process by preparing, maintaining and operating the lathe machines that are used to roll our recycled steel. You will be ensuring the correct program is used for the rolls required, set up tools correctly to ensure dimensional accuracy at the specification required.
Experience working in a hands-on role is key. As you will be working on the lathe machinery, having a strong lathe fitter background will be essential. Experience of Fanuc controls would be desirable but not essential. You will need to be self-motivated, someone who can work efficiently and often under pressure.
