Ravensbourne University London is an innovative, industry-focused university located at the heart of London’s newest creative community on the Greenwich Peninsula. We are champions of creativity and collaboration, dedicated to giving our learners the specialist skills and opportunities they need for outstanding careers in digital media and design.

Due to significant growth across the University over the last three years and planned growth over the next five, we are looking for a Management Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant within the Finance directorate, the Management Accountant will form a key part of the Finance team.

You will manage your own portfolio of budget holders which will be a mix of academic and professional services areas. This role will also work closely with the Director of Finance, and other teams including People and Culture for staff establishment purposes and all budget holders across the university, managing all day-to-day operational aspects of management account’s function, including monthly reporting of their own portfolio.

You will lead on the reporting monthly, budgeting and forecasting processes throughout the year for your portfolio. To succeed in this role, you will bring high quality prior experience in producing financial information that is easy to understand, be responsive, have strong collaborative links with budget holders and be able to improve and drive change in the way financial information is reported.

A good understanding of what good looks like (processes, systems, practice etc) and the ability to communicate clear and concisely in a fast-moving environment would be of value. Hybrid working with one day per week in the office in our state-of-the-art facilities in North Greenwich.
