Location: Waltham Abbey
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 3 x 12-hour shifts and 1 x 10-hour shift
Shifts: AM and PM available
Pay (PAYE - Paid Weekly): £13.71 per hour for hours worked between 06:00 - 17:59. An additional £1.85 per hour night allowance for hours worked between 18:00 - 05:59.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Process transport paperwork and update spreadsheets
- Assist with driver debriefs
- Ensure legal compliance (e.g. driver card downloads, mileage checks)
- Answer calls from stores and drivers, escalate when needed
- Carry out administrative tasks from the Transport Team Manager
- Monitor stock of sundries
- Handle internal and external email queries
- Take notes during investigations and disciplinary meetings
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Confident with MS Excel and Word
- Able to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Proactive with good time management
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
