SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

LOCATION: Nottingham – Hybrid (at least once a week)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Information Manager. This role represents an opportunity to shape how the business ensures the quality of its product data. You will be working with key stakeholders to establish business rules for product data, including the companies vendor managers, supply chain manager and pricing team.

The processes and rules developed by the Product Information Manager will work with the Commercial and ICT divisions to ensure rules and processes are implemented in the business applications and analytics platforms. By improving the accuracy and transparency of our product data the role will open up new sales opportunities, enhance margin and improve decision making.

The Product Information Manager will grow the business by supporting product discovery, enabling sales channels, and presenting new opportunities for promotion and upselling through the provision of comprehensive and accurate product data.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing the processes that will ensure the companies product data is accurate and fit for purpose.
  • Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of the product data including establishing the product set up conventions and ensure they are adhered to.
  • Defining the product data standards.
  • Processing exceptions from the automated product creation process.
  • Developing and maintaining business rules relating to our product data including supplier cost aggregation and vendor rebates.

This role will suit someone with experience of working with a PIM platform, experience of stakeholder management as well as experience of working in the IT and Related Services Industry.
