Value Match are currently recruiting on behalf of our client as they embark on an exciting new phase of growth, innovation, and transformation. As they expand their services and impact, they’re seeking an exceptional Head of Contract and Supplier Relationship Management to lead the charge in elevating our approach to framework and supplier management.
This is a pivotal senior leadership role within a Procurement Solutions team, with the opportunity to shape strategies, drive efficiencies, and deliver outstanding service to customers across the NHS and wider public sector.
About the Role
As the Head of Contract and Supplier Relationship Management, you will:
- Develop and execute best-in-class strategies for contract and supplier management.
- Champion the use of data and technology to improve procurement outcomes.
- Lead continuous improvement and innovation across Procurement Solutions.
- Forge and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Embed supplier performance frameworks that mitigate risk and drive value.
You’ll initially operate without direct reports, but as the team grows, you will play a key role in building and leading it. You’ll also be a vital member of our Procurement Solutions Leadership Team and deputise for the Head of Category Management when needed.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in category management and supplier relationship management within the public sector.
- Strong track record of developing and embedding SRM strategies.
- Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement finesse.
- Deep understanding of UK Public Procurement Regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and innovation skills.
- CIPS Level 6 qualification and a degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience within the NHS or a public sector buying organisation would be an advantage.
