Role:
Bartlett Wealth Management currently have an opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join our team.
This role focuses on the provision of financial plans and independent advice to a wide range of existing private and corporate clients. Working as part of a fast paced, friendly team, you will prepare written advice and provide technical support to a team of Independent Financial Advisers.
This is a key role within our business, and we are looking for an efficient and focused individual who prides themselves on attention to detail, is highly organised and works to standards in line with our client values.
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Analysing a client’s objectives and circumstances to identify holistic financial planning needs and opportunities. You’ll work collaboratively with Advisers to get the best outcome for our clients.
- Undertaking high quality technical research and administrative tasks to support to our team of Advisers.
- Bespoke fund and portfolio research on clients’ existing portfolios.
- Carrying out whole of market research for non-CIP products and solutions.
- Closely liaising with Compliance, external technical support, provider contacts etc.
- Helping to develop the company’s templates, processes and procedures along with participating in ad-hoc projects as and when required.
- Prioritising and self-managing your own workflow to ensure deadlines are met, keeping Advisers up to date with progress.
- All this will ultimately result in a you producing comprehensive and compliant recommendation reports using a combination of standardised templates with added free text.
The requirements:
Essential
- Diploma qualified (any targets to progress beyond this will be fully supported by the company).
- Strong literacy and numerical abilities are critical.
- A professional, driven, client centric approach.
- Previous Paraplanning experience within an independent firm.
- In depth knowledge of pensions, investments and protection within both private and corporate client wealth management advice.
Desirable
- IT skills including confident use of Microsoft Office, Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, Dynamic Planner, CashCalc and Iress Exchange.
