Graphene Trace is a pioneering medical technology startup dedicated to preventing pressure ulcers by continuous and automated pressure mapping. Our mission is to make preventative technology smarter and more accessible using printed electronics & AI.

We are seeking a passionate and personable Clinical Trials & Customer Engagement Lead to help bring our solution to market. In this role, you will be pivotal in managing and coordinating clinical usability trials, engaging directly with customers & ensuring compliance with medical device regulations. This role offers the opportunity to have real impact on the success of our startup; you will be given trust, ownership and the chance to make a lasting impact in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup and coordination of clinical usability trials, from participant engagement & recruitment to data analysis & reporting.
  • Implement CRM systems to track communications, trial progress & participant data.
  • Oversee medical device compliance with standards & testing.
  • Directly engage with a diverse customer base, including wheelchair users, healthcare providers, care homes, and distributors.

Essential Skills:

  • 2+ years’ proven experience in clinical trials.
  • Excellent customer engagement & relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in CRM (or CTMS) systems for clinical trial management.
  • Technical background in clinical, medical research, or similar.
  • Strong written & verbal communication.
  • Personable & approachable.

Desirable Skills:

  • Clinical trial planning experience.
  • Proactive by nature with a track record of spotting opportunities & taking initiative.
  • Experience working with wheelchair users, pressure care, or related fields.
  • Solid understanding of quantitative evaluation & structured data collection.
  • Project management.
