What you will be doing: As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions while maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical care, supporting each patient's journey with care and accuracy. Working closely with our Dispensing and packing teams, you will help ensure medications are processed with precision and dispatched rapidly, meeting our customer promise to patients of safe, high-quality care, delivered in record time.
- Work onsite at our Leamington Spa warehouse, ensuring the safe and compliant dispensing of medications.
- Use our secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to process prescriptions and maintain confidentiality.
- Accurately check prescriptions against protocols set by the Medical Team, ensuring all requirements are met for safe supply.
- Prepare medications and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch.
- Counsel patients by providing general advice on managing side effects, usage instructions, and other pharmaceutical guidance via email or telephone.
- Record concise and accurate notes in patient records as required.
- Follow operational protocols for prescription processing and escalate issues as needed.
- Engage in team training and meetings to stay updated on procedures and best practices.
- Maintain your professional registration and keep up with continuing education requirements.
What you will bring:
