We're on the lookout for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Strategic Finance team and help drive growth in our fastest-growing business area. This role goes beyond traditional finance; you'll be at the heart of opening new vet practices, planning extensions and supporting ownership transitions through expert financial modelling and forecasting. The role offers hybrid working (two office days per week) from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.
You’ll be:
- Creating and reviewing detailed 10-year business plans
- Turning complex financials into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Partnering closely with Ops, Property and Treasury teams to turn plans into reality
- Helping practice owners plan for growth and succession
- Seeing the tangible results of your work in new openings and business expansions
This is a role for someone who thrives on strategy, influence and impact – not just reporting the past, but shaping the future. We're looking for:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in financial modelling & forecasting
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- A commercial mindset and the confidence to challenge assumptions
