Class 2 night driver in Birstall – Temp to Perm placement. Salary: £16.50 per hour (paid breaks) Recruit A Driver are recruiting for a Temp to Perm, Class 2 night driver to drive for our Birstall based client. About the role As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver for our client, you will expect: To drive Class 2 refrigerated vehicles To carry out the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises To deliver leading coffee chain store products across either the North East and or York and Leeds region. The products will be packed into cages and delivered into stores. To be tech savvy, using handheld terminals when making the deliveries. To ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards, of reporting of any defects to the vehicle. Ensures vehicles are in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, & are operated in a safe manner. What you need to know: Working times : 16.00pm – 18.00pm start times Shift pattern : Working on a 4 on 4 off rota What you must have: Must hold a valid Class 2 UK license for a minimum of 12 months. Must have experience driving a Class 2 vehiclewithin the last six months, ideally 12 months.
