SAP FICO - S/4HANA Public Cloud Expert - Contract in City of London

SAP FICO Public Cloud expert needed – Contract – Outside IR35 About the Role:

We\’re looking for a seasoned SAP FICO Consultant with proven experience delivering S/4HANA Public Cloud (Public Edition) implementations. This role is critical to shaping and deploying cloud-based finance solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices under the GROW with SAP framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance modules, including General Ledger (New GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Banking.
• Run and facilitate fit-to-standard workshops using SAP Activate methodology, documenting gaps and working with stakeholders to drive standard adoption.
• Execute SAP CBC scoping and guided configuration activities, using SSCUI to deploy and validate business processes in the cloud.
• Manage and validate data migration using SAP Migrate Your Data tools; work closely with the business for cleansing, mapping, and validation.
• Support integrations with external systems (payroll, treasury, tax engines, etc.) via SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) or standard APIs.
• Participate in testing (SIT/UAT), end-user training, and quarterly cloud release assessments.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 5-7+ years SAP FICO experience with at least 2 SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud projects delivered end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-relevant FICO functionality: Universal Journal (ACDOCA), parallel ledgers, tax configuration, and real-time integration with logistics modules.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP CBC, SSCUI, Fiori Apps, and public cloud-specific constraints and accelerators.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP and IAS/IPS for user provisioning and authentication is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with experience working in agile delivery models.

Nice to Have:

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition – Finance certification
• Exposure to Central Finance, PSM, or multi-country rollouts
• Background in GROW with SAP starter packages
