Business Change Manager Bakewell, Derbyshire £47,754 to £50,788 per annum The Role The role provides the opportunity for an individual to contribute to the future of the UK’s first National Park, leading the Visitor Service into a new exciting and dynamic era. The role will be responsible for managing and delivering successful end-to-end changes aligned with the Peak District National Park’s strategic objectives. The Authority is seeking an individual who is entrepreneurial and creative as well as an experienced people manager with leadership qualities. The role encompasses change management, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement as well as financial and people management. Working closely across a range of stakeholders to create, develop and deliver initiatives for change that facilitate a sustainable and commercial business model that will withstand market demands. You will ensure end-to-end change is delivered across retail, engagement and enterprise, and implemented in a considered and controlled manner to fully realise the benefits and outcomes of change. In this role you will be the key contributor to the strategic direction of the Visitor Services operations, driving transformation through big thinking and effective change management. The role offered is an 18-month fixed term post that will work directly with the Head of the Assets and Enterprise Service as well as the Peak District National Park’s Senior Management Team. Collaboration across all internal services will be essential as will a desire to challenge the status, problem solve and implement solutions. About You You will need to have a strong track record of change management with the ability to identify and develop new initiatives and lead teams to successfully deliver these ideas. To advise and support the teams to achieve KPIs and service/Authority outcomes and objectives To develop and implement business initiatives that support a sustainable, commercial business model across the short, medium and long term To identify business/operational risks – provide and implement mitigation measures Strong financial/numerical acumen and budget management To undertake business development initiatives and nurture relationships with partners Strong track record of delivering successful change management Ability to work in a team and on their own Support the prioritisation of initiatives that enable controlled management of capital expenditure Drive growth and revenue generation to deliver profit Such other duties when required and as appropriate to the grade of the post About Us The Peak District National Park was the first of Britain’s 15 national parks and is still enjoyed by millions, looking for both adventure and a breathing space to escape.
