Our client, Ask About Mortgages, are a Whole of Market mortgage brokerage company with offices in Romsey and Eastleigh, Hampshire. They are working with banks, building societies and specialist lenders comparing 1000s of mortgage products, whether their clients are buying for the first time, remortgaging, want to move house or need to renew their mortgage. They are also a staff benefits mortgage broker partner for the NHS in Hampshire. They are now looking for a driven and enthusiastic Trainee Mortgage Adviser to join their team.
Trainee Mortgage Adviser, the role:
- Providing clients with an exceptional level of customer service
- Building strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Understanding and summarising clients' requirements and managing their expectations
- Contacting estate agents, solicitors and mortgage lenders - ensuring the completion of all documentation and necessary actions in a timely manner
- Following up on outstanding queries - keeping clients updated on progress
- Working alongside Marketing Manager - new business lead sourcing and building a pipeline of prospects for the future
- Meeting targets, reporting on results and providing appropriate feedback
Trainee Mortgage Adviser, the person:
- Strong Estate Agency experience is essential
- CeMAP Qualification would be beneficial - Ask About Mortgages will also be happy to support a right candidate through obtaining those qualifications
- Knowledge of FCA guidelines and relevant legislation
- Ambitious and driven, with brilliant attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and organisation skills - able to juggle tasks in a fast-paced environment

- IT literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Excel)
