Accounts Assistant – Part Time – Rochdale – Hybrid Working

An industry leader in outsourced storage and solutions with over 30 years of experience. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant for a newly created role.
Your new role
As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for accounts payable and supporting the wider finance team. Your duties will include:
- Processing and managing invoices
- Reconciling purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Maintaining supplier accounts and resolving any discrepancies or issues
- Accurately coding bank transactions into the business accounts
- Reconciling records with the bank
- Supporting other ad hoc duties such as payroll
What you\’ll need to succeed
You will have:
- End-to-end accounts payable experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
