We are seeking a talented Architect to support the delivery of a major aviation programme based in the Middle East. This role is ideally suited to someone with strong Revit capability, solid design coordination experience, and a passion for working on large, complex infrastructure projects. Working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will play a central role in shaping the delivery of airport terminal buildings and associated infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring both creative and technical thinking, and have the confidence to take ownership of work packages across multiple project stages β€” from concept through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in architectural design coordination across all RIBA stages (0–7)
  • Deliver high-quality design solutions, contributing to the development of project concepts, layouts, technical packages, and detail design
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants (structures, MEP, interiors, systems) to ensure technical accuracy and design integration
  • Manage project documentation, including drawings, reports, presentations, and specifications
  • Contribute to planning applications, building control documentation, and contract administration
  • Lead internal design reviews and ensure design compliance with project requirements and client expectations
  • Support the commercial management of the project, including scope changes, design risks, and fee/resource tracking
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members where needed
  • Maintain project quality through adherence to internal systems and ISO standards
  • Identify business development opportunities and assist in preparing bids and submissions

Key Requirements

  • Degree-qualified Architect with ARB registration (or equivalent international accreditation)
  • Minimum 1.5+ years of hands-on Revit experience – essential
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects – aviation or transport preferred
  • Strong knowledge of current building regulations, codes, and construction methodologies
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, design-led environments with shifting project demands
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills – able to work closely with both local and international stakeholders
  • Confident leading work packages and working independently when required
  • Willingness to relocate to the Middle East for the duration of the project (relocation support provided)
