An award-winning law firm based in Macclesfield is seeking to hire an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their Property Team. This presents an exciting opportunity for an individual with prior experience in Conveyancing as an Assistant, Secretary, Administrator, or Paralegal to advance into a role that offers progression and exposure to technical conveyancing work.

As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will collaborate closely with Partners, Solicitors, and Fee Earners in assisting with Residential Conveyancing. Training is provided where necessary, and the firm supports development and progression.

Typical duties will include:

  • Liaising with clients, agencies, and solicitors
  • Organising documents and filing accordingly
  • Performing property searches such as SDLT, Land Registry, AP1, etc.
  • Updating the case management system to progress cases
  • Providing the highest level of care to clients, keeping them updated on the conveyancing process
  • Preparation of completion packs
  • Assisting with post-completion tasks
  • Adhering to policies and procedures

It is essential that you have prior experience in Residential Conveyancing in some capacity. You should possess strong client care skills and be able to work with high attention to detail and efficiency. Experience in using case management software and MS Office is advantageous.

The role is full-time and based in Macclesfield. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
