Working as part of the Connect 44 Group Assurance Function to support wider compliance activities across the Connect 44 Group.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting pre-sales activities associated with EHS management, e.g. RFI/RFPs.
  • Uplift and maintain the existing EHS management systems suitable to compliantly support telecommunications field engineering activities, e.g. mobile rollout, site maintenance.
  • Ensure ongoing retention of applicable accreditation standards e.g. SafeContractor, ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
  • In conjunction with UK operational teams, adopt a hands-on approach to ensuring EHS compliance across UK activities.
  • Put in place a framework to monitor and report on EHS compliance.
  • Drive continual improvement across the EHS management systems.
  • On-site auditing required (potentially nationwide travel).
  • Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis for EHS-related events, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are implemented and lessons are shared.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate EHS risks across operational projects and office environments.
  • Deliver or coordinate EHS training and awareness initiatives across the business, required more than in iHasco, for the field engineers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant EHS legislation and best practice, advising stakeholders accordingly.
  • Knowledge about EcoVadis and CDP; additional knowledge would be great for the Group.
