We are currently working alongside a leading private equity backed company in their search for an Interim Procurement Manager. The role will run for an initial 6 month period and operate on a hybrid working basis.
Our client is currently integrating a new acquisition and are looking for this person to carry out a full review of global supplier bases across both companies to improve pricing and terms across existing contracts, identifying synergies across both companies. The role also requires this person to track supplier spend linked to a function being carved out and ensure Finance arranges the necessary recharges.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience of direct engagement with suppliers
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills to extract and compare current supplier costs across both businesses
- A depth of experience delivering against Value Creation or synergy plans
- Prior experience working on a Merger / Integration from a procurement perspective
