Turner Lovell has been appointed by a leading High Voltage and Medium Voltage engineering services company to source a Project Manager to join their team in Ireland. This business has been successfully awarded projects across renewables and electrical infrastructure, and are looking for a PM to oversee the delivery on a range of these projects. This is a new role in the business, joining a fast growing and dynamic environment in a well-established team. This job will require some travel to site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Communication on the project to key stakeholders including PMO, covering weekly and monthly status reports.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and use your initiative to solve any issues.
- Good leadership skills to motivate and direct your team.
- Excellent organisational skills to use your resources to ensure deadlines are met and the project budget is maintained.
- Liaising with existing & prospective clients; technical evaluation of equipment offers and drive cost reductions.
- Ensuring that all site activities are carried out to high standards; monitoring & reviewing contractors' activities in line with procedures.
To be considered, you should hold a minimum of an Electrical Engineering Degree with technical electrical knowledge, and ideally general civil experience. You should have at least 5 years' experience in a Project Manager role. You should be a Technical leader who is Safety focused, has the proven capability in decision making, and works well without direct supervision.
