Mydas Recruitment are specialists in sourcing candidates to the manufacturing & engineering sectors. Due to recent expansion, our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, have a requirement for a CNC programmer to join their established team.
Candidates should have experience of:
- Creation and modification of CNC programs using Siemens NX, that facilitates the machining of production parts to engineering design.
- Analyse part designs to plan logical machining strategy.
- Verification of CNC programs using the appropriate software prior to production release.
- Performs all programming assignments using own initiative.
- Ability to work to tight schedules.
- Ensure a safe working environment is set and maintained.
- Any other duties as required to support business needs.
Essential Criteria:
- 2+ years experience in 3 axis CNC Programming using a recognized CAD/CAM system.
- 1+ years experience in 5 axis CNC programming using a recognized CAD/CAM system.
- 2+ year relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
