Founded in 1604, Blundells is a co-educational independent school for pupils aged 11 to 18 years. We are now looking for a Minibus Driver to join us on a permanent, part-time basis, working 24 hours per week, during term time only.

The Role

As a Minibus Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting our pupils safely and reliably between school and home, as well as to sports fixtures and other school activities. You will be responsible for vehicle safety checks before each journey, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a comfortable, courteous service for all passengers.

Additionally, you will:

  • Conduct and record a passenger register before departure
  • Report any vehicle defects immediately to the Transport Co-ordinator
  • Maintain the vehicle usage log and complete weekly maintenance checks

About You

To be considered as our Minibus Driver, you will need:

  • A D1 (17-seater minibus) licence
  • Significant driving experience in minibuses or other large vehicles
  • Good customer service skills

Basic vehicle maintenance skills would be an advantage.
