Job Description We are seeking 3 highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in Cheadle. This role will involve working on critical underwater and above-water systems in the maritime defence sector, contributing to the full product lifecycle from concept to delivery. Key Responsibilities: Systems Engineering: Interpret and document customer requirements from User Requirements Documents (URDs) Create and maintain system baselines and version control Identify, assess, and mitigate system risks and opportunities Develop and implement system designs, including hardware, software, and system-of-systems solutions Plan and execute Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification (IVVQ) activities Requirement Management: Derive and allocate requirements to subsystems and components Manage requirements using tools like DOORS or equivalent Review and approve change requests, assessing their impact on the system Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior engineers Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Qualifications Required Skills and Experience: Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle Proven experience in deriving requirements from URDs knowledge of submarine systems Proficiency in DOORS or similar requirements management tools Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team a0; Due to sensitivity of the role, sole British citizenship and a0;Security clearance eligibility required Additional Information Why join us?
