As a Raw Material Planner, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time – enabling seamless production and minimising disruption. It’s a key role in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where attention to detail and proactive planning are absolutely critical.
The role:
- Generate material requirements plans to determine the necessary materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies needed for production.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and manage supplier relationships.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, including streamlining procurement processes and reducing lead times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MRP Planner or in a similar supply planning role within FMCG industry.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving when dealing with daily material planner tasks and/or issues.
- A can-do attitude with great problem solving ability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
