My client is a fast-growing engineering company seeking a Fabrication Supervisor to join their team. You will lead the fabrication team to ensure customer schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and the company’s health and safety policies are promoted and followed. Working hands-on with the fabrication team, you'll contribute to completing the production schedule while coaching and mentoring team members. Ensure the department is fully compliant with statutory and company health and safety policies.

  • Provide updates to the Site Manager and team at daily morning briefings regarding output, quality, and health and safety matters.
  • Ensure all welded products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Manage the team, including performance management and absence tracking.
  • Motivate the team to meet deadlines and provide training to promote a multi-skilled workforce.
  • Maintain housekeeping to agreed standards (5S methodology).
  • Ensure materials are issued to operators in a timely manner and report any material issues or stock-outs to the planning department.
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements and quality standards.
  • Follow all relevant processes and policies in line with company expectations.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, familiarity with CAD software, and experience with MIG and steel welding are required.
