We are looking for Stores Operatives to work at our new digital centre of manufacturing excellence in Deeside. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the role will manage and support all manufacturing operations within the engineering stores, control and manage goods in/out and materials, stock monitoring & ordering through communication with site teams and suppliers to ensure materials are ordered, delivered and available on time. It is important applicants have a quality mindset with high personal standards, in respect of both the quality of their work and quantity of throughput.
Key Duties:- Liaise with management teams to ensure all stock requirements are met.
- Kitting and Issuing tools, components and materials as and when required to maintain manufacturing schedules.
- Ability to work well in a team or autonomously by conveying a positive attitude, energetic and enthusiastic approach.
- Maintain efficient processes and standards with material quality, accuracy and reduce stock errors.
- Control and ensure all Tools, Equipment and Serialised items are documented, returned and maintained in a serviceable condition.
- Actively working alongside management teams to implement and drive improvements.
- Adherence to all policies and procedures including health and safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain housekeeping levels to ensure a safe working environment.
- Operating all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Driving company van. Delivering and collecting goods from suppliers.
- Assist with the training of others where competency in trade allows.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role.
- To be fully aware and comply with Boccard UK Ltd.’s policy on Equality & Diversity.
- IT competent in the use of Microsoft office.
- Hold a current driving license.
- Self motivated.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in Engineering stores management would be beneficial.
- Ideally hold a CCNSG or similar H & S accreditation.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am – 3:30pm, 7am to 12:30 Friday.
