Day-to-day of the role

• As a CNC Setter, you will be machining a range of sealing products in plastic and rubber materials to the required quality standards, while meeting appropriate deadlines.
• Setting and operating 3-axis CNC machinery.
• Creating, loading, and modifying CNC programs.
• Carrying out inspection of one’s own work and final inspection on others.
• Ensuring all parts are manufactured to drawing and specified tolerances.
• Managing work scheduling, stock, and calibration.
• Performing other general workshop duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter, particularly in environments that require a mix of small and large batch production.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Jetcam NUM controls.
• Strong ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Competence in using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
