Are you an experienced TIG Welder with a passion for precision work? Impact Recruitment is working with a highly respected engineering company in Daventry that specialises in high-end, technical projects, and they are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in high-quality welding and has experience working with titanium in a purge chamber or inert atmosphere. Salary: £35,000

Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Daventry

Job Duties:

  • Perform TIG welding of titanium parts and assemblies to extremely high-quality standards.
  • Use inert atmosphere techniques such as purge chambers, gloveboxes, or welding cabinets.
  • Read and follow SOPs and work orders to meet daily production targets.
  • Prepare and clean parts for welding and ensure correct setup.
  • Assist with jig and fixture evaluations with the Quality team.
  • Sign off 1st and last-offs, support the training of new team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving on the shop floor.
  • Maintain tools, welding equipment, and a clean workspace.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in titanium TIG welding within a purge chamber or inert atmosphere environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and ask questions.
  • Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Flexibility to support new projects and work additional hours when required.
