We are working with a Legal 500 firm based in Northampton who are looking to hire a Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor with 5+ years PQE on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is part of the companies succession planning and they are looking to future proof the business. You would be working closely with one of the partners of the firm who is looking to retire in the next couple of years before looking to step up into the role.

Typical responsibilities would include:

  • Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Guide clients on succession planning and share schemes.
  • Handle restructuring, demergers, and finance documents.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and franchise agreements.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years PQE with a wide range of corporate commercial experience. Strong networking abilities and happy to business develop as required. Confident, persuasive, and articulate communicator. Driven to complete deals with strong analytical skills.
