Job Overview:
The role of Production Engineer provides a support function to all areas of production. Your expertise will optimize and improve process capability and yield. You’ll provide support with routings, programmes, tooling, fixtures and technical support. You’ll provide support with BOM’s, production orders and costings. For this role, you’ll need to be conversant with Solidworks, CAD CAM and SAP.
About You:
- Machining biased apprenticeship up to HNC/HND level in Mechanical/Production Engineering
- Experience of 4 and 5 axis machining techniques and CNC Lathes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Project management experience
- Whist we need a good team player, you’ll also be comfortable working on your own initiative
- Excellent communication skills are required as you’ll be dealing with lots of other people in the business
