My client, a global investment firm, is looking for a private funds lawyer to join their EMEA legal team in London. This is a newly created role reporting into the Head of Legal EMEA.
The successful candidate will support on a broad range of legal matters which will include:
- Providing legal support to the firm’s business, including investment, research, and operations to support the firm’s EMEA strategy.
- Drafting and negotiating agreements, including investment management, advisory and non-disclosure for clients.
- Providing legal support as required on the wider firm’s business, in order to support the global strategy.
- Working with internal investment, operations, compliance, and risk teams to advise on developing and refining process and strategy.
This person will have at least four years’ post-qualified experience gained at a top-tier City or US firm and/or reputable asset managers. The ideal candidate will benefit from an alternative investment funds/fund formation (PE, debt and hedge fund) background with a willingness to take on a broader, more diversified role within a leading investment manager.
