Steam Motion and Sound are the production company of choice for the world's biggest theatrical productions, artists and live events. Steam is the leading creative and production services company for the West End and Broadway theatrical industries. We are looking for a Senior Producer to lead our talented UK team. As Senior Producer you will be responsible for the production of a range of content from multi-camera shoots, music videos, promos, trailers and commercials, as well as overseeing the day-to-day smooth running of the post production studio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Budget Management: Working in liaison with the Company Directors to develop bids for new projects, aligning pitches with realistic output versus budget expectations. Adhering to production budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving measures where possible.
- Financial: Overseeing all quoting and invoicing through the Production team, to ensure accurate and timely billing. Track costs, and update clients on budgets as required. Reporting to the Company Directors on key costs and project revenues.
- Team Leadership: Supervising the production team as they schedule work through the studio, and overseeing the creative team of editors, motion graphic artists, colourists, edit assistants and audio engineers. Allocate resources across the studio including freelance artists.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain excellent relationships with all clients, having awareness of all day to day communications and interceding where required.
- Producing: Produce key projects, from large multi-camera live stage captures, to single camera commercials. As required take on a Producer role in key post-production projects; compiling briefs, gathering assets, liaising with client to ensure project remains on track creatively and financially.
- Production Planning: Creating detailed production schedules, managing logistics, and overseeing all aspects of the production process, from pre-production through to final delivery, ensuring all project milestones are met.
- Post-Production: Oversee the scheduling of multiple projects through the post-production pipeline, to ensure all milestones are met. Ensuring high quality standards are met throughout, ensuring workflows are maintained and processes updated as needed.
- Problem Solving: Supporting the team in identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery of projects and managing of resources.
- Vendor Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers, crew, and freelancers. Negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers, such as camera houses, post-production facilities, and location rentals.

Salary: £45K+ pa pending experience. Role is onsite 5 days a week and the position is for immediate start. We are located 10 minute walk from London Bridge.
