An elite US law firm is hiring a new Corporate Paralegal to join their stunning London offices on an initial 9-month fixed-term contract working the Afternoon and Evening shift 12pm – 8.30pm. Providing high level work from day one, this is a superb opportunity for an experienced Corporate / Finance Paralegal.

- 9-month fixed-term contract
- Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)

The Corporate Paralegal will play an instrumental role in all phases of the corporate transactions and form an important part of the team, working alongside partners and attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:- Understanding of documentation required for High Yield Bond Transactions and the processes from the commencement right through to the closing of the deal.
- Assisting lawyers with transaction pre-closings and closings.
- Draft due diligence memorandum, call logs, fact back up charts and transfers circle ups.
- Deal with attorney requests from the US office via the US Library.
- Conduct various document searches and factual research, including searches on computerised systems when applicable.
- Proofread agreements and other transactional documents.
- Obtain charter documents and good standing certificates from the Secretary of State in applicable jurisdictions.
- Handle post-closing matters including the preparation of bound volumes.
- Gathering precedents for new transactions.
- Excellent academic qualifications are essential.
- Substantial Paralegal experience within a top law firm is essential and preferably in Capital Markets, US Securities and Leveraged Finance.
- Proficiency in managing complex transactions within a firm's Corporate practice groups.
- Candidates who can speak Italian, Spanish or French would be advantageous.
