Are you a compassionate and motivated School Nurse with an active SCPHN (Specialist Community Public Health Nurse) PIN? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our dynamic School Nursing team, supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young people across City of London. As a key member of our public health service, you will deliver safe, effective, and child-centered care, promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting early interventions within schools, families, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care and advice to school-aged children and their families
- Carry out health needs assessments, including safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and physical health
- Work collaboratively with schools, GPs, social services, and other health professionals
- Contribute to the development and delivery of public health initiatives within the education setting
- Maintain accurate records and comply with clinical governance and safeguarding procedures
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN/RGN) with current NMC registration
- Must hold a valid SCPHN (School Nursing) qualification and PIN
- Demonstrated experience working with children, young people, or in community settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
Desirable:
- Experience in multi-agency working
