Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently searching for a Lift Service Engineer on behalf of our client. As a Lift Service Engineer, you’ll work from home and play a key role in keeping clients’ lifts running smoothly. You’ll handle servicing and minor repairs, managing your own schedule, while also joining our call-out rota to support clients outside regular hours. Our client strongly encourages applications from the Ex-Military community; however, all applicants will be considered. Training will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain, fault find and repair various types of lifts and lift equipment
- Work in various locations, on your own
- Carry out sling LOLER inspections
Skills and Qualifications:
- NVQ3 in Engineering (Ideally in Lift Engineering)
- A good mechanical and electrical background backed up with a relevant qualification
- Customer focused
- Experience with hoist and lift equipment
- A full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Excellent time management skills
