The Opportunity
We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to take the lead on driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s sales strategy, reporting directly to the Sales Director, and working collaboratively with both the sales and operations teams to deliver best-in-class service and solutions. This is a hybrid role based in Manchester with flexibility—just two days a week in-office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new business development across the UK and Europe in the large format print sector
- Manage and grow existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and retention
- Identify and convert new leads, including both warm and cold outreach
- Present tailored proposals and quotes, adapting to client needs across retail, events, and exhibitions
- Develop and execute strategic plans to hit sales targets
- Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems and contribute to sales reporting
- Collaborate with the production and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in large format print sales, preferably within retail, events, or exhibitions
- A strong track record in both new business development and account management
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-focused
- Team-oriented with a positive, people-first mindset
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Pipedrive experience is a bonus)
- Must be Manchester-based or able to commit to 2 days/week in the office
