An exciting, senior opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive privately owned property investment and asset management business. Over the last 20 years, the business has been an active and opportunistic investor in predominantly value add, UK wide commercial real estate on behalf of a diverse, syndicated investor client base. The company delivers a full investment management service across acquisitions, asset management and property management.
This is a senior and pivotal role, working alongside the MD and the Chairman.
Role and Responsibilities- Lead the property management team and oversee best in class service to the expansive tenant base.
- Lead the Asset Management team in the delivery of upper quartile investor returns through creative, strategically engineered initiatives.
- Oversight of all tenant applications for assignation, subletting and alterations acting as an escalation point where necessary.
- Oversight of all legal instructions to ensure that all disputes and AM opportunities are dealt with efficiently.
- Work with the investment team to ensure that all transaction activity includes an element of both asset and property management, prior to deal completion.
- Provide the MD with monthly and quarterly reports on high level metrics across the portfolio which in turn can be delivered to investors.
- A senior property professional with at least 15 years experience gained across both asset and property management of a diverse, high yielding commercial portfolio.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team of professionals across asset management, property management, management accounting, finance and legal.
- Exposure to UK real estate investment markets would be advantageous from an awareness perspective.
- An adaptable and creative individual, comfortable interacting at all levels of a company matrix.
- Accomplished communicator with excellent reporting skills.
- High levels of organisational discipline, with lots of past exposure to dealing with multiple business systems and processes across a fully diversified, internally dependent company.
