T2M Resourcing are working with a growing technology and manufacturing business to recruit a Software Test Engineer to provide.
As a Software Test Engineer you will specialise in delivering software testing activities such as Software-in-loop and Hardware-in-loop testing.
Duties of the Software Test Engineer:
- Testing of embedded software for the automotive and aerospace industry.
- Developing automated test systems.
- Utilising testing tools such as ISOLAR and ETAS INCA.
- Work as part of Agile software development lifecycles.
- Creating and running test scripts.
- Use dSPACE for hardware-in-loop simulations.
- Understanding of AUTOSAR and Misra-C software standards.
- Working alongside Software Engineers and Systems Engineers to meet development deadlines.
Requirements to be successful as a Software Test Engineer:
- Degree level qualification in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or similar field.
- ISEB or ISTQB certifications.
- Testing and simulation experience such as Software-in-loop and Hardware-in-loop.
- Knowledge of Functional Safety and ISO26262 standards.
- Previous software development experience is beneficial.
- Capable of developing automated test scripts.
- Clear communicator.
- Experience of automotive/aerospace software development processes.
- Working knowledge of hardware, systems, and software development testing tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
This role is based in Milton Keynes and can be completed as a hybrid role with up to 2 days a week from home.
