The Role: This is an exciting chance to lead Professional Indemnity and Cyber claims, working directly with Wholesale and Retail clients to achieve the best possible outcomes. You’ll provide expert advice, liaise with insurers and legal representatives, and handle claims efficiently while encouraging positive relationships and supplying to key projects. What You’ll Do:
- Set your own work priorities to meet personal and team objectives.
- Negotiate with markets to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Prepare and present comprehensive claims documents to underwriters, addressing queries and providing feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date records on company systems and ensure all claims processes meet compliance requirements.
- Keep clients, insurers, and collaborators advised of developments, liaising with third parties as vital.
- Resolve client and insurer queries, ensuring all parties are kept updated throughout.
- Support less expert team members with their development, as the need arises.
Who We’re Looking For: Significant claims-handling experience, ideally with an international broker. Strong understanding of insurance principles and London market operations (Lloyd’s and company markets). Knowledge of the broking and underwriting process, as well as claims-handling procedures. Awareness of competitors, cultural considerations, and the regulatory environment. Highly organised with excellent planning and interpersonal skills.
