Quantity Surveyor – Growing and Busy Rail & Infrastructure Company
Location: Northwest | Salary: Up to £55,000 + £4,500 Car Allowance (DOE) | Full-Time, Permanent

Reputable Rail Company is on an exciting journey – with ambitions to double in size within the next two years, we’re looking for a talented and personable Quantity Surveyor to come along for the ride. Rooted in rail and expanding confidently into nuclear and a newly launched aviation division, we’re proud to work with a diverse client base and build long-term partnerships – including deep collaborations with top-tier contractors.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing NEC contracts (including Z clauses and various versions)
- Supporting the commercial administration of projects including platform works, depot maintenance, wall and embankment repairs, and culvert works
- Working closely with our project management teams to ensure strong commercial processes
- Accurate measurement of works, change capture, and management of sub-contractor accounts
- Collaborating with procurement teams and supporting fellow QS team members
- Attending project meetings and being the calm, capable commercial presence on-site
