An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse/Paramedic to join the team in a privately-run emergency treatment centre based in Portsmouth. You will be a part of a friendly and experienced multidisciplinary team offering assessments, wound care and other treatments to patients presenting with minor injuries or illness, with the aim to discharge or transfer for further care. Additionally, you will have occasional coordinating responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioners on-site, including helping said Practitioners.
Requirements:
- Level 7 History Taking & Physical Assessment is essential.
- A 2nd Level 7 module is essential (Minor Injuries & Illnesses is desirable).
- IRMER Certificate is essential.
- Experience reading X-Rays is advantageous.
- Experience leading is desirable.
- Experience with Minor Injuries is essential.
- A valid NMC pin.
Shifts:
- Mixed Rota, with 7.5 hours and/or 12.5 hours
- Part-time: 20 hours+
- Full-time: 37.5 hours
- Option to work overtime for 1.5x pay
