As a Service Team Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the Service team and Workshop Technicians ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of business strategy and objectives.
  • Provide agreed service levels to internal and external customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Lead and motivate the team for effective development, identifying team development needs and providing coaching and training.
  • Ensure management control and system efficiency across relevant systems.
  • Lead planning meetings to allocate work and identify resources 3 days in advance.
  • Monitor and record Technicians' efficiency and productivity daily.
  • Minimize idle time for Technicians by directing workflow.
  • Conduct weekly group reviews and document actions per Porsche Service Dealer Review (PSDR).
  • Hold monthly individual meetings to set and review targets.
  • Act as the first contact for technical customer issues, ensuring efficient resolutions.
  • Oversee repeat customer visits and resolve trends.
  • Ensure compliance with recall campaign policies.
  • Maximize service marketing campaigns and coordinate with PCMS.
  • Maintain workshop equipment, including the PIWIS tester.
  • Manage vehicle quality checks and road tests per Porsche standards.
  • Control the etag system and report concerns to the Aftersales Manager.
  • Stay updated on FCA Compliance and Retail Internal Control System (RICS) requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in service team management.
  • Experience in a high value retail brand, understanding the expectations and standards required in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Valid UK Driver’s License.
  • Excellent knowledge/understanding of the motor industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving operational targets.

  • Basic Salary of up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Annual bonus with an OTE of 35% per annum.

  • Fixed hours each week - no shift patterns. Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis from 8.00am to 1.00pm.
