Project Health and Safety Advisor required on a contract basis to operate as a Client Side Safety Representative for an upcoming c10 week construction project in Gloucester. The role has been assessed as Outside IR35. Immediate start required, realistically within 7 days. The contract can be run through your own Ltd Company or an Umbrella Service.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of contact for all health and safety matters on behalf of the client.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure the implementation of safety procedures tailored to the specific needs of the project.
- Provide ongoing safety training and awareness programs for personnel involved in the project.
- Provide recommendations for preventive measures.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders as necessary.
- Check RAMS of contractors on site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Consultant on construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in health and safety i.e. NEBOSH, CertIOSH status.
- You will ideally currently live within 1 hour of Gloucester.
