Are you passionate about supporting young people who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges? Our partner school in Hastings is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Youth Engagement Mentor to join their committed team.

About the Role:

Support a small class of students with SEMH needs throughout the school day.
Help students engage in lessons and adapt your approach to suit their individual needs.
Encourage positive behaviour and keep students motivated and on task.
Play a vital role in their social and emotional development.

What We’re Looking For:

We welcome a range of experiences. Whether you’ve worked in education, youth work, care, or mental health settings, your ability to connect with young people is what counts.

Ideal candidates may have:

Experience supporting individuals with SEMH needs or behavioural challenges.
A background working with children or young adults.
An understanding of therapeutic approaches or trauma-informed practice (desirable, not essential).
A calm, adaptable, and empathetic nature.
